I love the line about replacing the National Indicator Set with "a single, comprehensive list of all the data" he expects local govt to supply to central govt. Here’s an idea – call it "the National Indicator Set"… then all the time and effort spent compiling, quality checking, sharing, comparing and consulting won’t have been wasted.
